The
island of LA GRACIOSA
is north of Lanzarote, and is within sight. You have to book a flight to
Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote. A friendly taxidriver, special orderd
for you, will drive you to the harbour Orzola (30-40 min.). After 20-30
min, you will reach the island LA GRACIOSA.
The ferry goes several times a day. |

Soon
after your arrival, you will realize that island LA
GRACIOSA has a special
atmosphere and life is very different. Apart from a few jeeps, there are
no cars and no roads. Our Servicepesonal, will carry your luggage soon after
you have arrived, with a wheelbarow to your rented appartments.
A person of our service will be available for you if you need anything or
have any problems. They can fetch you fresh fish, if you don´t want
to catch the fish yourself. You can prepare the fish in the fully furnished
kitchen of your appartment. |

The
capital of LA
GRACIOSA is
Caleta del Sebo. There is another small village called Pedro Barba. It is
a little holiday village. The houses of Pedro Barba are mostly painted white
and only have one story. In Caleta del Sebo you will find a bank, a post
office, a church, some telephones (card only), a doctor as well as a chemists.
The bakery bakes fresh bread and pastries daily. In all the other shops
you will find an ample supply on foods, delivered by ferry regulary from
Lanzarote. In the restaurants traditional food is a speciality, as well
as salads and a variety of meats. Of course, seafood and locally caught
fish are highly recommended. |

amusements and excursions you can spend your time on LA
GRACIOSA, exiting and alternately; for example: |

for scouting the island and it´s various beaches.

Rent a bike and discover the island by your own power.

culture: changeable
entertainment and parties like the voting of Miss La Graciosa.
- Disco:
Every Friday and Saturday in the bar "La Graciosa".
- Excursions:
Maybe Lanzarote, with it´s various culture, architecture and provincial
charm. Or, if you want to be like Robinson Crusoe, you can go to the
island of Alegranza or to the island of Montaña Clara...

a fantastic paradise for diving. The transparent water of the sea, a fantastic
world under water with it´s wide range of fishes, is an adventure
